We have built our first ever innocent-owned factory, called ‘the blender’, and we’re looking for a finance talent to support our growing team. We are on a really exciting mission. We want to build ‘the Earth’s Favourite Little Healthy Drinks Factory”. We have ambitious and inspirational goals which will be setting us apart from many typical factories. As Business Controller, you will be part of the finance team for the factory. In this role, you’ll be owning financial processes for the new blender. You will help the team to ‘know our numbers’ while making the smoothies and juices for all our drinkers in Europe. You will provide financial support for further improvements at the blender and in our supply chain network. You’ll be joining us when we are still in the ramp-up phase of the blender and the financial systems, so you get the fantastic opportunity to be part of the team finding and implementing the right solutions. With your critical mind you think of ways how we can make our processes smoother, and you support on the implementation of these changes and ways of reporting to the wider business.

Reporting to the Finance Partner, you will work together with blender finance team and supply chain finance team on a wide range of finance and operations topics in a start-up environment.

In this role, you will:

• Perform month and year-end closing procedures
• Review and analyse financial data and translate this for stakeholders to understand them
• Perform periodic reconciliations of the balance sheet to ensure integrity of financials
• Support in yearly audit-cycle
• Engage in cross functional improvement projects
• Identify and implement processes, controls and system improvements
• Managing and building on all relevant reporting to get this to a high quality standard
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with the broader innocent/blender teams
• Provide clear inputs for financial decisions and trade-offs and challenge as appropriate in the spirit of values
• Be effective backup for other finance experts during holiday periods
• Be responsible for monitoring and improving insights from the mass balance
• Managing and steer on the PR/PO/GR process, including implementation of overall improvements
• Be the specialist to link operational performance to financial results, with detailed knowledge on blender operations
• Support the team to ensure good improvement ideas turn in to reality

And the following knowledge & experience:

• Relevant experience in finance within manufacturing environment
• WO thinking level
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power BI is a big plus
