We have built our first ever innocent-owned factory, called ‘the blender’, and we’re looking for a Maintenance Manager to let our factory grow. We are on a really exciting mission. We want to build ‘the Earth’s Favourite Little Healthy Drinks Factory”. We have ambitious and inspirational goals which will be setting us apart from many typical factories. To us this means doing the right thing by our people, the planet and the community. For our factory - the blender - we are looking for a Maintenance Manager to ensure the reliablity of our factory. As Maintenance Manager, you’ll be accountable for our maintenance agenda ensuring all our equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest level. You will own the ongoing supply of critical services to the blender and oversee the maintenance activities for the site. You’ll be driving a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, as well as ensuring top-notch safety standards.


You are part of the Blender Leadership Team and report to the Site Director. You manage the team of Maintenance Engineers, Maintenance Team Lead and Store Technicians (6 FTE). 


You'll be doing: 

  • Manage and coach the team of Maintenance Engineers, Maintenance Team Lead and Store Technicians; 
  • Develop the long-term strategy for Maintenance and identify the short term actions;
  • Develop strong relationships with the wider leadership, internal teams and external partners to ensure strategies, objectives and ways of working are aligned; 
  • Operational management responsibility for all production equipment; 
  • Management of engineering; responsible for Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and contracts; 
  • Lead the site to best in class maintenance performance and total cost of ownership; 
  • See that Health & Safety, environmental and Food Safety standards are maintained with all maintenance activities on site, so people work safely and efficiently;
  • Maintaining plant performance to agreed targets and improving plant performance through close cooperation with the operations team.

Vereisten

You'll have: 

  • University degree in Engineering; 
  • 7+ experience in maintenance or engineering (preferably in a FMCG environment);  
  • Expertise in keeping people and food safe through effective equipment and service management; 
  • Outstanding leadership, coaching and management experience; 
  • Ability to engage a team on a continuous improvement journey; 
  • Influencing and innovation skills
